Bird Real Estate Media was founded on a straightforward idea: real estate media should convert, not just look good.

The company is owned and operated by Tomas Caballero, an owner-photographer with a rare blend of creative, technical, and real estate experience. Tomas began his career as an Advertising Creative Art Director, working with global brands such as Honda and Reef, where storytelling, precision, and brand impact were non-negotiable.

Before entering real estate media, Tomas also worked as a professional photographer for Vail Resorts, photographing ski racing, Olympic athletes, snowboarders, and private clients in extreme alpine conditions. That background shaped his technical discipline, speed, and ability to capture decisive moments under pressure.

Later, Tomas transitioned into real estate sales in Florida under Century 21 Beggins, where he sold more than 50 properties in just three years. That firsthand experience on the sales side changed everything. He saw clearly what actually drives traffic, showings, and decisions, and what does not.

During that same period, Tomas also worked as a photographer for major nationwide real estate media companies, including Planomatic, F8 Real Estate Media, and OBEO. Through those platforms, he produced media for some of the largest brokerages in the country, including Compass, Coldwell Banker, and Michael Saunders & Company.

That dual exposure, selling homes while photographing them at scale, allowed Tomas to learn the real ins and outs of what a property truly needs. Not just from a photographer’s perspective, but from a salesperson’s point of view. That experience forged a unique, results-driven vision that is extremely difficult to replicate.

In 2018, he combined all of that experience and founded Bird Real Estate Media.

Today, Tomas personally photographs every property and leads a team of six professional editors, allowing us to deliver consistent, high-end results with a fast 24 to 48-hour turnaround. He is also an FAA Part 107-licensed commercial drone operator, ensuring that all aerial work is fully compliant and professionally executed. When it comes to 3D Tours, we are specialists in Matterport and Zillow 3D Home, with top-notch 360 ° cameras that capture stunning 4K tours.

Bird Real Estate Media is built on focus and simplicity. We could care less about upselling or pushing expensive add-ons that do not improve outcomes. We care about excellent results and that our clients are genuinely happy with what they receive. That is why we keep the process clean, the deliverables strong, and the experience easy.

We do not overbook. On most days we photograph only two to three appointments, not five to ten like many nationwide franchises and high-volume competitors. That pace protects quality, gives every property the attention it deserves, and ensures nothing is rushed.

Because we are local to Sarasota and Manatee Counties, we operate with common sense. If the weather turns into a washout, we are happy to reschedule for a better day at no extra cost. The goal is not to push through a rainy shoot. The goal is to capture the property the way it should be seen.We compete against nationwide companies with large teams and marketing budgets. Our advantage is personal. It is Tomas on site, supported by his in-house editing team, delivering premium work with a level of transparency and honesty that clients in this market have come to trust. We service Sarasota and Manatee Counties, Florida, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

All bookings are submitted through our online order form. We require online appointments only so we can capture exact property details, order selections, special requests, and access information that only the agent or owner knows. Phone bookings consistently lead to missing details and confusion, and they are difficult to track. The order form keeps everything documented in one place, allowing us to deliver accurately, efficiently, and on time.
